Tips for Getting Your Child Started With an Activity
If your kid is hesitant to do something new, think about a plan for a family event or a funny activity, the two of you do together. As an example, you'll be able to both take athletics or swimming lessons together or take the complete family on a hike.

If you show interest in an activity, your child could decide to follow your lead. And if one activity doesn't catch your child's interest, don't lose faith—keep attempting until you discover something that does.
